Everything you need to know about working with Todd — pricing, process, and what to expect.

Pricing & Fees

If you agree to book your final hotel/resort and rental car decisions through me — as well as tours and excursions — I charge nothing for upfront research and advice.

If you know you'll prefer to handle final booking yourself but do need help with destination research or itinerary strategy, I charge a flat fee of $100 per hour for those services.

Most of my income comes from commissions paid by hotels, resorts, guided tour companies, rental car companies, excursion and tour-booking companies, and even amusement parks.

Commissions for travel advisors are already built into nearly all travel costs — so it's better to put a travel agent to work to earn them, rather than do it all yourself and pay those built-in costs anyway.

Airlines don't pay commissions to travel advisors, so there is a fee for booking airfare on its own. I charge $125 per ticket for domestic flights and $160 per ticket for international flights.

If flights are booked as part of a full package that includes hotel stays, tours, or a rental car, those airfare fees are waived.

Working with Todd

Hawaii is my specialty — I'm a Certified Travel Specialist on all four major islands. But I'm a full-service travel advisor and can help plan trips anywhere in the world: cruises, European getaways, Caribbean resorts, adventure travel, group trips, and more.

If you have a destination in mind, reach out and we'll figure out where to begin.

Absolutely. I work with solo travelers, couples, families, multi-generational groups, and everything in between. Whether it's a honeymoon for two or a family reunion for twenty, the planning process is the same — I handle the logistics so you can focus on the experience.

The earlier the better — especially for peak-season travel. Holiday weeks, spring break, summer in Europe, Alaska cruises, and popular resort destinations can sell out or rise in price quickly.

It's simply not realistic to plan peak-season trips only 2–3 months in advance and expect the best availability or pricing. For popular travel windows, 6–12 months ahead is ideal.

Just reach out. Fill out the contact form, send an email, or give Todd a call. Share where you're thinking of going and a rough idea of timing — he'll take it from there and get back to you within 24 hours.

There's no commitment required to have an initial conversation.
